Moving Day

I'm Moving!

No, not moving houses..... I am moving my Blog!  Blogger has been very good to me over the last few years, however, it doesn't seem to play to very nice with my new Mac.  And I am not giving up my new Mac, so instead, I am giving up Blogger.  

I won't be making any more updates to this blog, but I will leave the site up for while so everyone has a chance to bookmark my new blog site.

Happy 4th of July

I know I have been a bit slack on the blogging recently. Things are just getting hectic right now. Work has started to pick up it pace along with the overtime which I get paid for. YAY! Add to that a month long training class which is critical for my job and thus sleeping or web surfing during training wont be possible.

Then I am getting ready for mom to come for a visit. She was supposed to come on Tuesday, but a busted water pipe in her basement delayed her arrival until tomorrow. I have been busy getting the house ready; cleaning, fixing up the 2nd bedroom, hanging photos, and replacing ugly old carpets. The delay has also allowed me to paint my two bathrooms, so that is what is on my agenda for today. Painting!

Stupid Blogger

Sorry about all the font changes in the last few posts, but despite trying multiple times to make edits (and yes, I know what I am doing), Blogger still refuses to cooperate and make the edits I am requesting.... ARGH!

The Deck

Here is my pretty new deck with the new table and chairs and colorful lovely flowers.

Also, as you may have noticed, I changed my blog format. I didn't intentionally copy my buddy Joy's blog format. I just wanted a white background and liked this format. Later, I noticed how similar it was to Joy's blog. And by that time, I had spent way to much time in getting this format organized to change.

And today I meet a fellow Fair Trade fanatic. It was nice to meet someone else as knowledgeable and committed to Fair Trade as I am.

Oh.... 14 days till Africa! EEEEEeeeeeeee!
