The Space Shuttle lifted off from Florida yesterday at 2:45pm eastern time. Poop! That will probably be the closest i'll ever get to seeing a shuttle take off.
Oh well. I leave for Miami tomorrow bright and early. Pray for a smooth transfer at DFW cause I only have a 45 minute layover. Yikes! Also pray my luggage also makes the transfer, cause Miami without clothes could be interesting.
A few of my co-workers and I still plan on driving up to Kennedy Space Center on Sunday to see the site and take a tour. Should be a fun way to spend the day.
