Photo of the Week: Sep 11-15

This was taken Monday night from my rooftop deck.

It is odd, but the 4 years I have lived here in NYC, every Sept 11th has been one of those perfect weather days. Crystal clear and beautiful outside. Monday was no different.

Last year, when I shot the 9/11 lights from my rooftop, there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the lights seemed to go on forever up in to the dark sky. This year, there was this one set of clouds that came over Manhatten just as twilight was ending. The lights hitting the clouds created this amazing effect.
