Our first stop on my recent vacation was in Providence, RI for the Water Fire exhibit. Every once is a while, Providence lights their river on fire. No, not like Cleveland has done in the past, but in a much more artistic manner. They have these bowls of firewood that line the river and at night, they light up each of these bowls to create a fire trail down the river. This must be the thing to do in Providence on a Saturday night, cause the place was packed.
Photographically, it was a nice challenge. Night photography with fire and reflections. It was fun just walking the pathway along the river taking photos of the fire bowls and the people enjoying the exhibit.
